FIRST BURN
Do you know that candles have a memory!!! The first burn will set the memory of how a candle will burn this is very important. Allow the wax to be melted completely edge to edge to set the memory and ensure an even burn and maximum fragrance. That is why it’s so important to light your candle on the first burn for 2-4 hours.
TRIM YOUR WICK
Trim your wick using a wick trimmer after every burn to 1/2 cm this will prevent smoking and keep a clean burn pool.
EXTINGUISHING YOUR CANDLE
It is important candles are not burnt when there is less than 2cm of wax remaining in the jar. To extinguish your candle, use a wick dipper it primes the wick for next burn. Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time as you can over burn a candle.
WARNINGS
Always use common sense when burning a candle burn on a flat surface that is heat resistant and never leave it unattended. Burn in a draft free area and keep out of direct sunlight, this prevents damage and discoloration to the wax.
RECYCLE YOUR JAR
Soy wax is also easy to remove from materials and surfaces. Which means that once you have finished with your candle, you can simply wash out with warm soapy water, and re-use. We hope you will enjoy your candle.
